RIFFLANDIA 2025: A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER!

This year's Rifflandia festival was an unforgettable experience, and we're still buzzing from the energy and excitement. Held in Victoria, British Columbia, from September 11-14, the festival brought together an incredible lineup of artists, installations, and food vendors.

Here are some of our standout moments and favourite performances from the festival:

CHAROLETTE CARDIN

Charlotte Cardin is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for her striking authenticity and emotional depth. Born in Montreal and based in Paris, she has amassed over 804 million streams worldwide.

Favourite song: Confetti

Alessia Cara is a talented Canadian singer-songwriter with a massive following on Spotify. She has over 17.6 million followers on the platform and garners around 10 million monthly listeners.

Favourite song: Stars To Your Beautiful

Walk off the earth

Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie-pop band known for their creative music videos and covers. They're famous for playing multiple instruments simultaneously, often incorporating unique instruments.

Favourite song: My Stupid Heart

HOLLOW COVES

Hollow Coves is an Aussie indie folk duo consisting of singer-songwriters Ryan Henderson and Matt Carins. Known for their reflective lyrics, dynamic harmonies, and earthy melodies, they've gained a significant following worldwide.

Favourite song: Coastline

MACY GRAY

Macy Gray is a renowned American singer-songwriter known for her soulful voice and eclectic music style, blending neo-soul, R&B, and pop. With a career spanning over two decades, she has released several successful albums and singles.

VICTORIA SYMPHONY

The Victoria Symphony stole the show at Rifflandia with their electrifying performance of Daft Punk's iconic hits. The symphony brought the house down with their orchestral rendition of the French electronic duo's legendary songs.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT RIFF

DANCING AT THE DOME

We found ourselves lost in the rhythm, dancing for hours to the pulsating house music in the dome. It was liberating to shed our worries and simply be in the moment. As the saying goes, 'the dome is home'

THE GREAT FOOD!

Rifflandia had something for everyone, from light bites to satisfying meals. We were impressed by the variety of options, including many delicious gluten-free choices that made our food experience truly enjoyable.

THE SO:BAR (non-alc)

Rifflandia's SO:BAR offers a variety of delicious non-alcoholic drinks, perfect for sober-curious individuals or those looking for alternatives to traditional cocktails.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Rifflandia welcomes everyone, including families, to join in on the music, art, and community fun! The festival is an all-ages event, making it a great outing for families to enjoy together.

RIFFLANDIA GIVES BACK

Rifflandia gives back to the community through its "Give Where You Riff" program, donating 15% of every ticket sold to local organizations. This initiative supports the local community and fosters a sense of connection among attendees.
